Grilled Tri -tip & Veggies

Perfect for a nice summer evening, this meal is one you can share with the family.

Servings = 4
Serving Size = medium plate
Calories = ~550-650

Ingredients
-Tri-tip            
-Broccoli       
-Ear of Corn      
-Cauliflower
-Olive Oil
- McCormick Grill Mates
(Montreal Steak Seasoning)

Cooking Instructions
1) Defrost Tri-tip steak.
2) Marinate steak with olive oil and Montreal Steak Seasoning.

Cooking Tip: Marinate tri-tip a couple hours before to allow the meat to tenderize and absorb the flavors of the marinade.

3) Sear both sides of the tri-tip on your bbq for about 2 minutes each at about 400° F.
4) Cook the tri-tip for 50 minutes using indirect heat at about 350° F. Flip half way through.
5) Once the tri-tip is about done, place the ears of corn (with outer dressing still on) on the grill for about 7-10 minutes.
6) As the meat and corn are cooking place the broccoli and cauliflower in a covered bowl with a tablespoon of water inside.
7) Microwave the bowl and its content for 5 minutes on high. Once complete, drain the excess fluid and disperse the vegetables accordingly.
8) Check to see that the meat and corn are fully cooked. Cut accordingly and share this great meal with the family!
