Calisthenics cook Book
Diced Chicken & Veggies w/ Sweet Sauce
Cooking Instructions
1) Defrost chicken. Any type of chicken (tenderloins, breast, wing, etc.) should work fine.
2) Spread broccoli and carrots over an oven pan.
Cooking Tip: place a layer of tin foil on the oven pan first, and then disperse the veggies on top.
4) Lightly drizzle the olive oil and onion powder over the veggies on the tray.
5) Once thawed, place the chicken in a glass-baking dish.
6) Place both the chicken and veggies in the oven and cook at 350° for about 30 minutes.
7) Once done, check to see that the chicken is completely cooked and that the veggies are soft and crispy. If not done, leave the contents in the oven for another ten minutes.
8) Once completely cooked, take the chicken out and cut it into finer pieces to be tossed with the veggies.
9) Add all the food contents together in a bowl, mix in sweet sauce (*my favorite is General Tsao Stir Fry Sauce from Trader Joes), and enjoy!
